Interview with a Therapist
The aim of “Interview with a Therapist” is to humanize the therapist and destigmatize the treatment. This podcast takes a personal look inside the professionals who treat mental health. Each episode is an interview with a different therapist using the same 10 questions. This format is inspired by James Lipton and The Actor’s Studio; the Vanity Fair Proust Questionnaire; NPR’s Terry Gross and Dan Gottlieb’s Voices in the Family.

Episode 2
Today on “Interview with a Therapist” I will be speaking with Cynthia Piccini, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and owner of Breathe Easy Therapy Services in the Lehigh Valley. She specializes in treating couples with past relationship betrayals as well as individuals with trauma. The practice has been both virtual and in person since completing the Telemental Health Law and Ethics Certification in February of 2020. Practice information can be found on www.breatheeasytherapy.com. The practice believes in collaborating with any facilities necessary to help propel clients to meet their goals. They take a wellness approach that believes in more than an hour of therapy, but a mind, body, and relational context to living in fullness.
